一、教学目标：

1. 语言知识目标：

1) 能掌握以下单词：sitcom, news, soap, educational, plan, hope,find out, discussion, stand, happen, may, expect 2) 能了解以下语法：

动词不定式结构做动词的宾语；后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。

3）学会陈述自己的看法；学会谈论自己的喜好。

2. 情感态度价值观目标：

学会谈论流行文化，了解各类电视和电视节目的名称和自己的喜欢。

注意引导学生们形成正确的文化观念，大力培养学生们的跨文化意义，形成自己独立的个性。

二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点：

1) 学习掌握各类电视和电视节目的名称。

2) 掌握动词不定式结构做动词的宾语；了解后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。

2. 教学难点：

掌握动词不定式结构做动词的宾语；了解后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。

三、教学过程

Ⅰ. Lead-in 1. 引导学生们看屏幕中的图片，教师提问：What do you plan to watch tonight? 2. 让学生们集体回答。

3. T:What do you plan to watch tonight?

S1:I plan to ...

S2:I plan to ...... II. Listening2d Listen to the tape of 2d and match the persons with their favourite shows. 1.

T: Play the recording for the Ss to listen and match the persons with their favourite shows. ① Grace a. game shows and sports shows ② Sarah b. soap operas ③

Grace’s classmates c. news and talk shows 2. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. III. Read 2d and answer the questions.

1.What are Grace and Sarah talking about? 2.What does Grace think of game shows and sports shows? 3.What does Sarah think of them?

4.What are Sarah’s favorite TV shows?

Check the answers with the Ss. IV. Work on 2d. Role-play the conversation. 1. Let Ss read conversation after the teacher. 2.Explain some main points for the Ss. 3. Ss act the conversation in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations. Ⅴ. Practice and Work on3a: 1. TellSs to read the conversation in 3a and try to fill in the blanks with right words. 2. 方法指导：应通读整个对话，掌握对话大意；

然后，根据问句所问的内容及自己的实际情况来回答问题。

注意，第二个问是一个选择疑问句，意为“你想看……还是看……呢？”

3. 学生们，按老师指导的方法进行阅读，并逐句推敲每空应填什么词语，在实际的运用提高自己的阅读能力、分析能力及综合运用能力。

4. 最后，教师与同学们一起校对答案，并对学生们有疑问的地方进行解释。

5. 学生们两结对操练对话，最后找几名学生来表演一下对话。
