教学目标：

1、听说读三会掌握单词man（男人）、short（矮的）、tall（高的）、small（小的）、thin（瘦的）、big（大的）

2、掌握语言：

is tall/ short/ big/ small. 3、提高学生英语口语水平，和运用英语的能力。

教学过程

一、情境导入

1、问答练习：

T：Hello ,boys and girls. How are you?What’s your favourite

colour ?What’s your favourite song?

Ss:It`s …..

2、Let’s sing the ABC. 二、集中识词

1).引出big,small. T: Boys and girls , Now I want to show you something. Look, What’s this?

Ss: It’s a tiger T:It's big.呈现单词，带读的时候教师板书，同时领读。抽读，纠正学生发音。做大大的动作操练。

T: What are they? They are monkeys.They are small. 呈现单词small，带读的时候教师板书，并让学生一起举起手拼读。做小小的动作带读。抽读，纠正学生发音。

T: Yes, this ball is big,and this ball is small.(拿着两个球对比,引导学生说出big,small) (用几件物体来进行句子操练) T: This backboard is big.This schoolbag is big. 教师做动作，学生说单词，操练big,small。

师生唱反调，操练big,small. 2).课件呈现一人，引出man. T:Look ，Who is he? S: He’s a man.(引导学生说出man) 呈现卡片，带读的时候教师板书man，并让学生一起举起手拼读。做男人拨头发的动作操练。抽读，纠正学生发音。

3）引出tall和short T: Look, who is he? S: He’s 姚明，He’s a man. He’s tall(做高的动作) T: Look at them. who are they?Yao Ming is tall.(做高的动作) Liu Xiangis short.（慢慢地对比，引导学生说出来）

呈现单词tall和short，带读的时候教师板书，并让学生一起举起手拼读。做动作操练。抽读（让学生边读边做动作），纠正学生发音。

2.师做动作生抢读，将big,small也带进来. 句子操练(用几件物体来进行句子操练) T: xxx is short(跟一学生对比，引导学生说) 5)引出fat和thin T:Look, this is a pig, It is very fat.(做胖胖的动作) Look, this is a cat, It is very thin. 呈现单词fat和thin，带读的时候教师板书，并让学生一起举起手拼读。做动作带读。抽读（让学生边读边做动作），纠正学生发音。

句子操练(用几件物体来进行句子操练) 1.教师做动作，学生抢说。

2. 教师说一词，学生抢答说出反义词，巩固本节课所学的反义词。

三、新知

1、课件出示课本的图片，先老师做示范介绍两个男人的特征，让学生介绍这两个男人和猴子的特征，This man is tall. That man is short .要做必要的领读和正音。

然后再出示两一胖一瘦的猴子图片，

This monkey is small and thin. That monkey is big and fat. T: Look at the two men, what do they look like? Listen

and

say. 2、游戏：老师边做动作边说big，

small 。让学生理解它的含义，然后老师边做动作边说big，让学生边做动作边说small 训练学生的反应能力，让学生在放松的情景游戏中掌握big，

small 这两个单词。

四、模仿操练

2、学生四人一小组，拿周围的同学或学习用品做参照物，来介绍。例如：Look at the boys This boy is fat .That boy is thin. Look at the girls This girl is tall .That girl is short .

Look at the bags This bag is big .That bag is small.然后选几组上台展示

3、集体做练习。

五、家庭作业

运用今天学习的单词和句型，“This ... is …”

/“That ... is ...”

向父母或朋友描述一下周围同类、或者不同类事物之间的特点
