01: Today, we’ll talk Unit 4 “what’s the best movie theater? ” section A. Now please follow me into my interesting class. 02:I divide my teaching plan into six parts. They are teaching material, students’ analysis, teaching methods and learning strategies, teaching aids, teaching procedures and blackboard design. Let’s go to the first part: teaching material. 03:Teaching material contains three aspects, they are status and function, teaching aims, key points and difficulty. First is status and functions. 04: This is section A in Unit 4, which is selected from PEP version, grade 8. The focus of this lesson is talking about people’s preferences and make comparisons. And it will lay a solid foundation for the further study. 05: Second is teaching aims. It also contains 3 parts. They are knowledge aims, ability aims and moral aims. Let’s see part A: knowledge aims. 06: In this unit, students need to try their best to master these key words and key structures. 07: Part B ability aims. In the language learning process, listening, speaking, reading, and writing is really important. They all make a contribution to developing their language skills. In this section, focus will be laid on listening and speaking. 08: part C, moral aims. I will tell strengthen students' love for life. Encourage them to share their preferences with each other. 09: The third is key points and difficulty.

10: Key points are these new words and structures.difficulty is talking about people’s preferences and giving reasons in our daily life. 11: After a brief acknowledgement of teaching material, it’s time to talk about students’

analysis. As we all know, students are the center of the classroom and play an important role in the class. 12-13: They are active, optimistic and imaginative, so I’d like to use many contexts, games and activities to motivate students’

learning enthusiasm. 14: Next part is teaching methods and learning strategies.

15: I mainly use task-based teaching methods, situational teaching method and communicative teaching method. As for learning strategies, guessing, cooperation and practicing will be encouraged in my class. 16: Let’s keep on going. This part is teaching aids.

17: I will use objects, recordings and video to create a great language situation. 18: The next part decides whether the lesson is successful or not. So let’s go to the most important part:teaching procedures.

19：It’s made up of 5 parts：lead-in, presentation, practice, production and homework. It’s said that well begun is half done. So, I will provide an interesting lead-in. 20: First of

all, I will show my students a video. After enjoying the video, I will ask my students some questions. Boys and girls, have you

ever watched this movie? Where did you go to watch it? Oh, theater! So today we’ll talk about what’s the best movie theater. 21: In this part, I mainly use situational teaching method to help students have a basic understanding of new topic naturally and arouse students interest. 22: With a vivid lead-in, part 2 is presentation.

23-25I will show my students new words in this way: OK, Let’s see what is concluded in theater. First is the comfortable seat. That means they’re soft. Second is big screen. And the last is the ticket.

26-28:boys and girls, in the last unit ,we know how to compare two things,but do you know how to prepare three things or more than three things?

Now look at the picture. In this picture , this second is more comfortable than the first. The third is more comfortable than the second, so we can say the last is the most comfortable seat. In the same way, i will introduce others ,such as: the biggest screen and the cheapest ticket.

29（1）：last , i will tell my students the rules just like this. 29: After introducing the new words, an interesting game will be used. Cut the fruit. I will give the description of new words and let my students guess it. If the answer is right, the fruit will fall and be cut by the knife. OK, let’s have a try. You can seat on it to watch movie, can you guess it? Yes, seat ! You are so clever! So this fruit will be fall and be cut by the knife. Another one, the object is really big and you can watch movie

clearly. What? Yes

screen. And ,the other words will also be practiced in this way. 30: after playing the game, i show today’s new structures with vivid video. It really amazing ,right? So i want to now who is the fastest runner ? Yes, Liu Xiang. 31: After showing the videos, i guide my students to play another game: help the train move. I divide one sentence into 4 parts and let students use the 4 part to make a correct sentence. If the answer is right, the four parts will be put into the carriage accordingly. Just like this. What’s the best movie theater? Then the train will move. 32: in this part i mainly use task-based teaching method to show new words and structures. It will help students have a basic understanding of key structures. 33: Next part is practice. It’s said practice makes perfect. I divide my practice into 2 parts.

34: Step 1: listen to the tape and match the right answer to each other. 35: Step 2 is fill in the blanks. To test whether they have mastered the new rules. 36:In this part, i mainly use task-based teaching method to improve student’s language ability. 37: Part four is production.

38: I dive class into several groups and let them to make a survey to

discuss what’s the best theater. 39: The final is homework. Homework also plays an important role in the whole class.

40: Our homework is to Write some qualities about the best movie theater in your town.

41:In this way ,i can Strengthen students' understanding of this lessons. 42: After introducing the most important part. Let’s see the final part: blackboard design.
