教材分析

本课选自三年级下册第七单元的第一课时。本单元谈论的话题是职业，重点交流了个人职业理想、家人的职业情况及为了实现理想需要付出的努力。本课重点讲解个人职业理想，引导学生积极思考，谈论自己的职业理想和及其原因。通过对不同职业的询问与交流，丰富学生对职业的形象感知与认识。

学情分析

本节课的授课对象是三年级4班学生，他们具备了一定的英语基础和学习能力，思维比较活跃，爱动脑，在孩子们心中都有过对未来职业的设想，并且掌握了一些职业类词汇：teacher, vet, doctor等。能够简单谈论理想职业及其原因，但他们用英语谈论职业努力方向能力有限。

教学目标

知识与技能：

1．能听懂、认读职业类词汇scientist,writer,swimmer以及thundering，hard和afraid。

2．能理解并运用What do you want to be? I want to be …谈论理想的职业，并运用because阐述理由。 3．联系所学课文分析人物性格及爱好，并根据职业选择，给对方提出建议I think you could …。

情感态度价值观：了解到梦想工作的实现和你的兴趣、性格和努力息息相关。
