Lesson 3 What Do They Do? 教学目标:1.掌握四会单词work worker doctor nurse hospital.
2.了解李明father、
mother、
aunt、
uncle的职业、工作地及上班的方式,谈论父母的职业、何地工作、上班方式。
3. 认读、理解并运用基本的句型结构:He/She +verbs+s/es+….
重难点:1. 四会单词的识记与掌握。
2. 谈论工作地、工作方式时动词单三的正确运用。
学情分析:五年级的学生已经有了一定的英语基础,尤其是有关职业的词汇,学生从三年级起有了接触,大多数学生已经会说,只要教师加以引导、适当拓展即可。此外本课谈论工作地、工作方式时涉及动词单三,五年级一、二课已涉及,本课还需在运用中体会、理解、巩固,以便学生正确使用。
教学过程:
I. Lead-in: Get the students to talk about Li Ming’s big family , and ask “Do you want to know what they do?”
II. Presentation:
一)、自主学习结朋友! 1.Get the students to say out the meanings of the words one by one, then read after me or the excellent student.
2. Read these words in groups, then compete between groups. 二)、学习新知我最棒!
1.
朗读课文(范读、齐读):1) . First get some students to read ,then get all the students to read.
2) . Race to read between boys and girls. 2. Show some pictures and get the students to answer:
---What does Li Ming’s father do?
--- He is a….
---Where does Li Ming’s father work?
---He works….
--- How does Li Ming’s father go to work?
---He goes to work ….
3. Present other pictures like the above. 4.Get the students to ask and answer in pairs, then act out in front of the class. 5. Show to pictures and get the students to say out : doctor、
nurse、
teacher 、farmer worker 、
bus driver、
by car、
by bus、
by bike、
on foot III.Practice实践运用我挑战!
1.同桌问答:
--- What does your father/mother do?
---Where does your father/mother work?.
---How does your father/mother go to work? 2. 小记者采访: Get two students to review some students some questions:
“What does your father/mother do? ”
“Where does your father/mother work?”
“How does your father/mother go to work?”
IV. Sum up:1. The students talk about their harvest.
2. Select the better between the boys and the girls.
