一、教学目标

1.知识目标：能够识记并且运用下列词汇和句型。

重点词汇：

weekday，weekend，Sunday，Monday，Tuesday，Wednesday，Thursday，Friday，Saturday，the day before yesterday，the day after tomorrow，play soccer，play tennis，study for a test，have a piano lesson，look after

重点句型：

—What's today?

—It's Monday the 14th. —Can you play tennis with me? 2.能力目标：能够使用本节课的目标语言。

3.情感目标：通过小组合作，增强学生的合作意识。

二、教学重难点

Train students' communicative skills of making，accepting and declining invitations.

三、教学过程

Step 1: Lead-in 1.Greet with the students. 2.Review days of the week. Step 2: Presentation 1. Teach the new words. 2. Teach Activity 1a& 1b. (1) Write the dates for this week on the calendar. (2) Complete Activity 1a, then check the answers. (3) Ask students to write the words today，tomorrow，yesterday and the day after tomorrow in the correct space on the calendars in their books. 3. Teach Activity 1c. (1) Ask and answer questions about the days in 1a. (2) Call attention to the example in the box. Ask two students to read it to the class. (3) Ask Ss to work in pairs. Ask：What do you want to do on Monday，Tuesday…？

Write down your answers. 4. Teach Activity 1d& 1e. (1) Listen. Can Vince play tennis with Andy? Circle Yes or No. (2) Play the recording. Ask，What can Vince do today? Pay attention to the list of five activities，and the three lettered words.

(3) Listen again. Match Vince’s activities with the days in 1d.

(4) Play the recording again, and check the answers. 5. Teach Activity 1f. (1) Ask the pairs to practice for a few minutes like the example. (2) Ask some pairs to present their conversations. Step 3: Summary and Checking Step 4: Homework Write down your activities of this week .

在本节课中，学生将继续学习如何在真实情境中运用本课话题，从而得到能力的提升。采取了小组合作的方式，引导学生自己去创设情境，编写对话，合作探究，互帮互助。
