Teaching Steps:

Step 1: Revision(A game) 1.Enjoy a short video to cheer the students up before class. 2. Play a game to have a review about 1a-2d. 3.Ask the students some questions to lead in to 3b . (1)What kind of TV show is it? (2)Do you like this kind of TV show? 【设计意图】本单元信息量较大，以旧带新式的教学方式，既复习了前面的相关知识，又加深了对当前学习内容的记忆。

Step 2: Presentation (Some videos)

(3b) 1. Show some videos and ask the students questions about the TV shows. (1) What do you think of game shows? (2)What comedy shows do you like to watch?? (3) Do you plan to watch a sports show tonight? (4) What can you expect to learn from the news? 【设计意图】以互问互答的方式引导学生来学习谈论自己看法和喜好及期望的几种表达方式。

2. Teach the students how to express their own opinions using the following ways: (1)I think ….

(2)I love / like /don’t mind /don’t like /can’t stand them/it.

【设计意图】引导学生理解并熟悉如何表达自己的看法或喜好，为下步的练习设下铺垫。

【设计意图】该环节为＂师生互动＂及＂生生互动＂，老师为学生提供合适的话题，并指导学生用英文表达自己的想法和喜好以及期望．在英语的课堂上，有效地运用启发诱导的方法，让学生因好奇而产生练习的兴趣。

Step 3: Practice （3a）

Ask the students to practice more conversations. Choose three pairs to role-play their conversations in front of the class.

Ask the other students to follow them. While—reading: Pay attention to the words in red. 【设计意图】通过结对练习对话，让学生学会谈论对电视节目的看法，训练学生英语口头表达能力。

Step 4: Group Work .(3c) In this step, make a survey at first , the students are divided into four groups,one of them is the leader .Let them ask and answer the following questions to finish their task. Such as :Do you want to watch a movie? Why do you like them/it? 【设计意图】通过调查问卷练习，达成知识目标，能力目标，情感价值观等目标的实现。培养学生自主，合作，探究的学习能力。

Step 5:Practice: First，complete the sentences orally according to the grammar focus . then read the grammar focus in different ways. Finally, fill in the blanks and complete the short passage.

【设计意图】通过完成句子练习及反复朗读Grammar Focus，让学生把握文本内容，掌握语言目标，达到逐步提高语言表达能力的目的。

Step 6: A movie: Learn to arrange your time properly by watching a

short movie about a day of a student’s school life.

【设计意图】让学生通过观看一个短片学会合理安排自己的时间。

Step 7: Summary

Call several students to sum up what they’ve learnt in this class.

【设计意图】本节课主要内容都是围绕如何谈论自己看法和喜好及期望的一些语言项目展开的。请同学们自己先小结，然后老师再补充不足之处。这样可以让学生对本节课的内容进行梳理和内化，有个系统的认识。

Step7: Homework: Write a short passage with the following phrases to make your own plan: want to …

plan to…. hope to… expect to…

【设计意图】通过让学生写一篇短文，进一步达到熟练运用动词不定式来谈论自己的喜恶，打算，希望，期待以及对事物的看法和正确评价，达成本节课三维目标的顺利实现。

【教学反思】

本课以如何表达意愿，希望，计划和期望为话题，完成了该话题下的相关词汇和功能句的归纳，使学生掌握了话题的使用方法以及具体的操作步骤，培养了学生的自学能力与合作探究能力；操练方法与技巧的合理使用，简化了文本内容，提高了学生的学习兴趣，培养了学生的口语能力；最后为学生提供了动口练和动手写的活动任务，实际上是为学生提供了综合运用话题语言知识进行实践的机会，真正实现了本课最终的教学目的。

本教案设计合理，环环相扣。因考虑到学生能力水平的差异，在完成任务过程中，采用小组合作互助、教师点拨等方式，使全体学生共同参与，体现了主体性原则。在展示过程中，教师适时使用激励性的语言，极大地调动了学生的学习积极性。
