一、教材分析：

本节课是本单元的写作训练板块，要求学生能根据单元内容，尝试笔头的语言输出。通过描述周围的地点及事物，来综合运用所学的形容词及副词的比较的用法，学会表达自己的观点。3a的语篇填词练习不仅再次让学生在语境中练习比较级和最高级，还为3c的写作提供了一个很好的写作示范。学生从3a读文章填词，到3b思考要点写句子，再到3c完整语篇的输出，整个过程从易到难，循序渐进，符合学生的认知规律。最后的口语活动4，要求学生谈论中国最佳城市的话题，要求学生拓宽思路，并且能在语境中运用语法要点，是对单元话题的提升。

二、学情分析：

1.青少年这个阶段有自己的认知能力，对周围的地点及事物也有自己的看法。

2.学生学过了形容词及副词的比较的用法，所以对本课内容应该能较好掌握。

3.一些学生的词汇量有限，想表达自己的观点是会有一定的困难。

三、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标：

1) New words:

3) Target language：

1) 复习形容词及副词的比较的构成规则。掌握生词crowded。

2) 能够综合运用所学知识来描述周围的地点及事物的特点。

3) 通过描述周围的地点及事物来综合运用所学的形容词及副词的比较的用法。

3. 情感态度价值观目标：

1) 每个人都有自身的特长、优点和特点，古人云：三人行必有我师焉。讨论和同伴学习可以让每个同学从他人那儿学习到所需要的东西。

2）谈论的话题是最爱的家乡事物和最爱的城市等，贴近学生日常生活，易激发学生的学习兴趣，和对家乡和祖国河山的热爱。

四、教学重难点: 1. 教学重点：

1) 能运用所学的形容词或副词的最高级的用法，根据提示来完成选词填空的任务。

2）能运用所学的形容词或副词的最高级的用法来描写自己周围的一些地点和事物等。Write about your town and the best things or places there.

2. 教学难点：

能运用所学的形容词或副词的最高级的用法来描写自己周围的一些地点和事物等。(Write about your town and the best things or places there.) 一些学生的词汇量有限，在写作时想表达自己的观点是会有一定的困难。为了突破这一难点,我在复习导入阶段,利用Brainstorm的策略,让学生复习形容词及副词的比较的构成规则变换练习,让学生加深对最高级形式的印象,以便在后面的写作中熟练正确地运用。同时对最高级的运用我设计了进行了大量的练习，例如我们做了一个调查Survey：Who’s got the talent in your class? Give your reports.还有我把第四部分的Discussion也提到写作之前，让学生先口头运用最高级合作练习，谈论Discuss and tell the class which town/city you think is the best.为下面的熟练运用最高级写作My hometown 作了充分的准备。

五、学习策略：

1. 通过学习3a文章标题、文章首尾句和每段落内容，来学习文章的写作方法。

2. 引导学生先归纳写作方法，然后练习写作，让学生在语言的运用过程中学习。

七、教学过程：

Step One: Warming- up and revision 1. Write the title of the unit “Unit 4 What’s the best movie theater?”

and let the students tell me “We’re learning the superlatives.”

(设计意图：通过诠释课题来引入本课主题与学习内容。)

3: Ask and answer. Then lead in.

（1）What is the longest wall in the world?

（2）What is the heaviest animal on land?

（3）Who’s the funniest hostess you know?

（4）Who’s the most popular and famous actor?

(设计意图：运用这些有趣的问题吸引学生的学习兴趣，同时让学生感受形容词最高级的用法。)

Step Two: Survey：

Who’s got the talent in your class? Let some Ss give their report.

e.g.

1) Duan Hanyu is the best Guzheng(古筝) player.

2) Chen Yutong is the most talented dancer.

3) Wu Fan is the best singer.

4)

5) … is the best basketball player.

6) … is the best English speaker.

7) … is the funniest actor.

(设计意图：继续通过对身边最…的人的调查吸引学生的学习兴趣，并且让学生尝试运用形容词最高级去表达想法。)

Step Three: Discussion（合作探究）

1. First, discuss together. How many famous cities do you know in our country?

Make a list of the famous cities: Beijing，Shanghai，Xi’an，Chengdu，Hangzhou，Sanya etc. Then, ask students “Why is Beijing/…famous?”

Answer and list the reasons one by one. Beijing (capital city, famous, popular, the Great Wall…)

Shanghai (big，crowded, beautiful city buildings…)

Xi’an (beautiful，famous historical city, ……)

Chengdu (pandas, delicious food…)

Hangzhou (beautiful city,

the West Lake, love story…)

Sanya (warm, beautiful beaches, clean water, delicious seafood…)

(设计意图：帮助学生思考每个城市的特点，以便于在下面的讨论中有话可说。同时让学生可以利用这些信息以及形容词的最高级表达自己的想法和喜好。) 2. Discuss the towns/cities in China with a partner. Tell the class which town/city you think is the best. Give an example. A: I think Shanghai is the best city in China, because it is the most beautiful.

B: But I think Beijing is the most popular city for visitors because it is the capital city. It has many famous places, such as the Great Wall, the Tian’anmen Square , the Summer Palace …

After the discussion, ask some pairs to present their dialogues or ask some students one by one. “Which is the best city? Why?”

Finally, give a sample about my favorite city.

I think San Ya is the best city in China. It has the most beautiful beaches and the cleanest water. It’s the warmest place. You can eat the most delicious sea food. You

can enjoy the sunshine most quietly.

Step Four: Reading（3a）（精讲精练）

1.Guess：“For Miss Han, Which is the best place to go on weekends? Why?”

Then help students answer: “I like going to Daminggong Park. It is the best place to go to on weekends because I can play tennis and ping-pong. I can fly kites or take a walk with friends. ”

(设计意图：通过让学生猜Miss Han周末最喜欢去的地方引入3a的阅读，激起学生的好奇心。) 2. First, look at the picture of Greenwood Park. Then ask “Is it beautiful?”,and after that tell the students “Read the article about Greenwood Park. Fill in the blanks with the correct superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs in the box”. Before reading, ask students to tell the comparatives and the superlatives of the words in the box.

Explain and teach “crowded拥挤的”---more crowded--- the most crowded. 3. Ss try to read the article and try to fill in the blanks.Then check the answers with the Ss. 4. Let the students read the article together, and then answer“Why does the writer go to the Greenwood Park? ”Write the key points on the blackboard. •

I always finish my breakfast fastest on Saturdays because I want to get to Greenwood Park before 10:00 a.m. to meet my friends. The park is the most crowded place on weekends because almost everyone goes there to see the street performers. Some people think they are boring, but I think they are the most creative

people. However, the place where you can enjoy your time the most quietly is at one of the small coffee shops near the park.

Step Five: Writing practice（练习巩固）

1. Work on 3b:

(1). Think about some of the best places/things in your town. Why are they the best?

(2). Give some examples to the Ss. Then help them fill in the form together. Best places /things Names Why?

(1). Write about your town and the best places/things there.

(2). 写作指导：

本文为写自己所居住的城镇上最好的地方或事物，并说明原因。

因此，时态应用一般现在时态；

应先描述最……的是某个地方，然后说明这个地方最好的原因。

应注意正确运用形容词或副词的最高级形式来表达。

在3a中文章的第一句话和最后一句话分别起到了总起和总结的作用，文章通过3个方面的原因来证明了为什么作者说Greenwood Park是周末最好的去吃。大家写作文的过程中，我们可以仿照3a的结构来写。

3. 学生们根据写作提示，及上面表格中的提示来写作这篇文章。

4. Let some Ss read their passages to the class. Then present two of the passages and correct the mistakes. At last give them a sample and focus on the writing skills again.

There are many parks. I think Daminggong Park is the best. I enjoy going there on weekends because it’s the biggest and most beautiful. The best theater is Oscar Theater, because it has the biggest screen and the most comfortable seats. Sometimes I go there to watch movies with my friends. There are many special snacks in Xi’an, such as Liangpi and Roujiamo. There are also many kinds of the noodles. I think Biangbiang noodles

are the most delicious of all.

九、教学反思：

本节课是本单元的写作训练板块，要求学生能根据单元内容，尝试笔头的语言输出。学生从3a读文章填词，到3b思考要点写句子，再到3c完整语篇的输出，整个过程从易到难，循序渐进。通过描述周围的地点及事物，来综合运用所学的形容词及副词的比较的用法，学会表达自己的观点。

学生学过了形容词及副词的比较的用法，所以对本课内容应该能较好掌握。

但是写作时一些学生的词汇量有限，想表达自己的观点有一定的困难。

为了突破这一难点,我在复习导入阶段,利用Brainstorm的策略,让学生复习形容词及副词的比较的构成规则变换练习,让学生加深对最高级形式的印象,以便在后面的写作中熟练正确地运用。同时对最高级的运用我设计了进行了大量的练习。

（1）我们做了一个调查Survey：Who’s got the talent in your class? Give your reports.（2）我把最后的口语活动4也提到写作之前，让学生先口头运用最高级合作练习，谈论中国最佳城市的话题，要求学生拓宽思路，并且能在语境中运用语法要点，.为下面的熟练运用最高级写作My hometown 作了充分的准备。

在突破写作技巧方面，我做了以下努力：

（1）3a读文章填词时我把仔细分析3a文章，总结出写作技巧，并且板书在黑板上。（2）当学生写作时反复强调写作技巧，学生可以随时看黑板上的总结和ppt的3b表格寻找思路。（3）学生写完后，叫一到两个同学读他/她的文章，然后在实物投影上展示两个同学的文章，并且老师现场朗读并批改，给同学留下了深刻印象。（4）最后给学生展示老师写的范文，并再次强调并标记写作技巧。让绝大部分学生掌握并达到熟练运用的程度。

在Self check方面，时间有点紧张，给学生留作课后检测。
