Step 1 Warming up T: My dear students, welcome to today’s class meeting. Do you know what is our topic about today?(Show a picture of TV shows on the screen.) Ss: TV shows.

Guess what kind of TV shows they are. Show some pictures of different kinds of TV shows which the students cannot see directly.

Practice the sentences in pairs.

Say out your and your partner’s opinions about TV shows:

I love soup operas because I think they are relaxing. But I don’t like game shows because they are boring. My friend likes sitcoms because he thinks they are funny. But he doesn’t like sports shows because they are too noisy.
