Unit 4 What’s the best movie theater? Section B(writing) 二．教材分析

1. 本单元为八年级下册第4个单元，话题内容为“your town”，要求学生能使用最高级谈论关于自己家乡的话题。本单元教学内容贴近学生日常生活，所学习的句型也比较实用。

2.本课时为unit 4的第5课时，在section A学习内容的基础之上进一步学习如何使用形容词和副词的最高级。本课时先通过对3a文章的学习来初步了解对某地的介绍，再由3b引导学生谈论家乡的话题来帮助学生进行写作前的准备，最后水到渠成地完成3c的写作任务。

三．学情分析

八年级学生已经具备一定的英语基础知识，这对接下来即将进行的写作策略的培养打下了基础。在七年级，学生已经学到了本课时中出现的一般现在时态；而在本单元的前4个课时中学生已经初步掌握了形容词和副词最高级的使用。因此在经过3a和3b的练习后，学生能很好完成3c的写作任务。而课文中所涉及的关于家乡的话题也能很好地引发学生共鸣，增加学生对家乡的了解和热爱。

四．教学目标

在新课开始前，学生应掌握课文中出现的新词。在前4个课时的学习基础之上，学生已经初步掌握了最高级的使用，并能够使用最高级简单的谈论日常话题。在课堂上，老师展示PPT，按照课堂流程组织学生的学习活动。老师应当提前对学生进行分组，并准备适当的小奖

品。

七．教学过程

Step1 review and warming up

greet Ss by asking them: hello, everyone! Today we will continue to learn unit 4, What’s the best movie theater? Section B(writing). First, let’s focus on the teaching aims. Next, let’s review and warm up. Please talk about the movie theaters in Xuchang. You can use these words and sentences to help you. 设计说明：通过师生间的问候，拉近彼此的距离，使学生快速融入英语课堂。直接展示教学目标，让学生对本节课的教学目标有明确的了解。通过对之前电影院话题的再次谈论来复习最高级的使用。

Step2: lead-in and finish 3a Show some pictures about Greenwood park and finish 3a. Check the answers and read the article together. 设计说明：练习阅读技巧，继续巩固最高级的使用。根据3a的结构来初步进行写作的准备。

Step3: before-writing(3b) 1.

Show a picture, and enjoy a video about Xuchang .

设计说明：展示自己家乡的照片和欣赏相关视频使学生增加对自己家乡的了解，提高课堂的趣味性。

九. 教学反思

本节课课型为写作课，强调对学生写作能力的锻炼。写作课在日常教学中属于较难的课型，学生容易产生畏难情绪。因此在设计教学程序时，我设计了三个步骤，从阅读文章整体感知结构，到谈论写作内容的相关话题，最后利用写作指导和写作提纲帮助学生完成写作，层层推进，依次增加难度，让学生在写作时更有把握，提高了英语基础较差的学生对课堂的参与积极性和对英语学习的兴趣。

在教学设计中，我还兼顾了对学生读英语和说英语能力的锻炼。课堂上设计的教学活动紧密贴合学生日常生活，使学生对教学内容感觉更亲切更加有参与课堂的兴趣。小组活动和对作文的自评自改使学

生参与课堂的程度更深，真正发挥了学生的主体作用，很好的完成了本节课的教学任务。
