Step II. Role –play the conversation(2d) First ask two students to act out the conversation and then make their own conversations. This step helps them to improve their oral English and speaking skills. 这部分主要以听和说的训练为主。听2d的对话，完成连线任务; 找出这些人分别喜欢哪些节目; 挑出重点句子并翻译; 考察大家说的能力, 听并且填出所缺的部分，并和搭档练习对话,注意语音语调。

Step III. Grammar focus

Read the sentences together and then help students to summarize the grammar. Step IV. Practice(3a)

First show some sentences in 3a,and ask students to fill in the blanks with the TV show words. Keys: watch a talk show, watch a game show, want to watch, a game show Complete the questions with the TV show words.

This step helps students know how to finish the sentences and grasp the responses to the questions. Step V. Pair work (3b) Firstly, ask some of the students to say sentences using the given words .Secondly, ask others to answer. Then ask each of the students to write questions. Ask and answer with a partner . One asks, the other answers, and then ask them to give a report. This step helps to train the usage of the present tense. Step VI. A survey(3c)

The teacher first asks students questions : Do you want to watch a movie ? Do you hope to watch a sitcom? Do you expect to watch the news ? Do you plan to watch a sport show ?

Some students would say like this :

Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.

Make the survey : Ask your classmates questions and write their names in the chart.

Then make a report.
