Step 1 Review Play a guessing game

Step 3 Lead in Ask the students some questions : Have you ever watched talent shows? What do you think of them? Do you like them or do you think they’re boring? Some students can answer these questions easily. After that, show the students a video of American talent show. When students watch these kinds of shows, they show their interest and most students like watching them. Then lead in some sentences we will learn today: It’s really interesting to watch talent shows. They’re becoming more and more popular in China. Ask the students : Why are they so popular? Help the students to answer:帮助他们实现梦想，Tell them in English: Help them achieve their dreams.

设计意图：通过看视频吸引学生的注意力，导入新课，以加强学生对新学知识的理解，强化所学知识,增加学生兴趣。
