Lesson 4:What Do They Like to Do?

、教学目标

1. 在语境中学习go for a walk,plant flowers,water flowers,cook, go shopping等动词词组,通过学习本课能听懂、会说、认读go for a walk,plant flowers, water flowers, cook,go shopping.

2. 在对话中学习使用What does he/she like to do? He/She likes to do something etc.并能运用此句型进行简单的交流。

3. 在I like to do something.和He/She likes to do something.的对比下,初步理解动词第三人称单数的概念。

Step1: Greeting T: Good morning, class! S: Good morning, teacher! T: Nice to meet you. S: Nice to meet you, too . T: Welcome to my class! Are you ready for our English class? S: Yes.

Step2: Warm-up A chant (chant together) Fly, fly, fly a kite Draw, draw, draw a picture Read, read, read a book Write, write, write a story Watch, watch, watch TV Play, play, play a game

Step3: Presentation T: Now look at this picture. This picture is about Liming’s family. Let’s use the knowledge of lesson 1 to 3 and try to introduce them. You know? Now give you 3 minutes. Are you ready? S1: His grandfather is eighty-one years old. He has white hair. S2: His grandmother is seventy-five years old. She has white hair, too. S3: His father has black hair and black eyes. His father is tall. S4: His mother has black hair and black eyes, too. His mother is short. S5: His uncle Dachao is tall and thin. S6: His aunt Meiping is short. S7: His cousin Jing has long hair.

S8: He has short hair.

Step 4: Oral practice T: What do you like to do? S1: I like to sing. T: What do you like to do? S2: I like to dance. T: What do you like to do? S3: I like to fly a kite.

Step 5: Listen to the passage T: Listen to the passage carefully. And then ask my question. Ok, are you ready? Who can try? Put up your hands. S: go for a walk T: Now read after me, “one and three” (repeat “go for a walk”) S: (read the sentence one by one) T: Now look at these pictures. Who likes to go for a walk? S1: The grandfather likes to go for a walk. T: What does she like to do? S2: She likes to fly a kite. T: What does he like to do? S3: He likes to swim.

Step 6: Read Part 6.1 T: Now look at this picture. Read and match. What does my grandmother like to do? What does my cousin like to do? What does my father like to do? What does my mother like to do? Open your books and turn to page 8. Read the passage carefully and write down your answers. ( 3 minutes) S1: She likes to plant flowers.

T: (Write down the answers. Read.) Look at these pictures. What else can be planted? Who can try? S2: plant trees S3: plant grass T: What does Jing like to do? S4: She likes to water flowers. T: What does my father like to do? S5: He likes to cook. T: Who likes to cook in your family? S6, S7, S8 T: Ok. Who does my mother like to do? S9: She likes to go shopping. T: Do you like to go shopping? S: Yes. T: Me too. (Read one by one. Then pair work—one ask one answer) T: Now I have two questions. Look at. Do you understand? (1 munite. One ask and one answer. Read.)

Part 6.2 T: Look at these pictures. Then read the passage once again. ( 1 munite) Talk about each picture, ok? S1, S2 , S3, S4, S5, S6 Step 7: Practice T: Look at these pictures. Read part 1 and then talk about pictures. E g:--What does he like to do ? --He likes to plant flowers. (2 minute) S1, S2, S3... 六: Homework (1) Read and recite Part 1. (2) Finish Activity Book.
