1．课程标准相关要求

课程标准要求八年级学生能听懂接近自然语速、熟悉话题的简单语段，能连贯、流畅地朗读课文（四级）；能通过阅读识别主题，获取主要信息理解大意（四级）；能引出话题并进行交谈，并能在口语活动中使用正确的语音语调（四级）。

2．教材分析（重难点）

本单元要求学生在学会形容词、副词比较级的基础上运用最高级的句子结构来谈论生活周围“最……”的地方。Section A主要学习运用最高级句型来谈论你周围生活设备的好坏。

1. 教学重点：

1) 形容词及副词最高级形式的构成。

2) 用形容词或副词的最高级形式来描述人或事物。

2. 教学难点：用形容词或副词的最高级形式来描述人或事物。

3. 学情分析：学生在八年级上册第三单元中初步了解了比较级的用法，第四单元最高级的学习可以对其进行补充拓展，本节课通过阅读2b，会读懂、理解文章大意，能回答基本问题，并获取选秀节目的相关信息。

【学习目标】

1.通过观察图片和自主预习，能识记有关公共设施的描述性短语。

2.通过听力和对话练习，能运用形容词和副词的最高级评价电影院等公共设施。

3.通过复习比较级，能归纳形容词最高级的构成规则，并能运用到对公共设施的评价中去。

【教学过程】

Step Ⅰ. Lead-in

Task 1. Show some pictures on big screen and let students guess who he or she is in the pictures.

(Use the Superlative Forms of Adjectives and Adverbs.)

Task 2. Use the Superlative Forms of Adjectives and Adverbs to make sentences according to the

person shown in the screen.

Step Ⅱ. Presentation

Task 3. T: Do you like watching movies? Which movie theater do you choose to go to?

Do you think which thing is important?

S: As for me, it must have… (comfortable seats, big screens,

best sound, friendly service…)

Task 4. Complete the exercise in study book.

Step Ⅲ. Listening and Speaking

Task 5. Listen to the tape twice and match the statements with the movie theaters.

Task 6. Practice the conversation. Talk about the movie theaters of 1b above.

Task 7. Listen to a report interviewing a boy. Circle the boy’s answers. (Just play the recorder once.)

Task 8. Listen to the tape twice and write the correct store or radio station next to each statement.( If necessary, play the recorder according to the tape scripts.) Step Ⅳ. Pair work and Oral practice

Task 9. Role-play the conversation using the information in 2a and 2b. (Exchange clothes store/ radio station into park / school / Movie Theater… to make conversations.)

Writing six sentences to describe your classmates by using the Superlative Forms.
