教学重点：

词汇：tall short big small fat thin man 句型：This…is….That …is…. 教学难点：This monkey is small and thin .That monkey is big and fat . 教学准备：单词卡、多媒体课件。

教学方法：TPR教学法。

教学过程：

Step1：Warming up

1、Greeting 把全班分组（boys and girls），开展比赛。

2、Let’s have a chant to review.(复习上节课总结的关于动物的单词。)（设计意图：调动兴趣，使孩子们活跃思维，积极地参与课堂活动，为对话学习做准备。）

Step2：Leading in 1.

Play a game ：Guess. 通过听音或者看部分图片猜动物。师通过What’s this?或者What are they？来询问以复习上一单元所学内容。

Step3：Presentation 1、师出示狗的声音猜动物1：一只大狗和一只小狗，教授：big和small。（小组练习，生生练习），引出句子:This dog is big. That dog is small. 2、Let’s chant . Big big big. This dog is big. Small small small. That dog is small.通过chant复习。

3、师出示老虎的声音猜动物2：一只胖老虎和一只瘦老虎，教授：fat和thin.(练习新单词)引出句子This tiger is fat. That tiger is thin. 4、出示姚明和曾志伟图片，教授man，对比他们的身高，引出tall和short. 教授新单词。进而引出句子This man is tall. That man is short。

5、出示猴子的尾巴，猜动物。出示两只猴子，对比他们的不同，一

只big and fat，另一只small and thin.引出句子:This monkey is big and fat.That monkey is small and thin. 6、Play a game:萝卜蹲复习big、small、tall、short、fat、thin。

4.Learn Text A.播放活动2动画。观看第一遍提问：1、what do they see？（他们看到了什么？）观看第二遍：2、找出反义词？

B.带领孩子们读句子。

C.小组练习展示。

Step3:Practise 1.Work in groups 例如：Look at the boys .This boy is fat .That boy is thin. Look at the girls. This girl is tall .That girl is short . Look at the bags. This bag is big .That bag is small 学生四人一小组，拿周围的同学或学习用品来介绍。

Step4:Summary 通过chant总结本课所学知识：

Step5: Homework 1 熟读并背诵课文。
