一、教材内容分析

本单元是人教版八年级英语上册的第五单元，包括四个板块的内容（Section A， Grammar Focus， Section B， Self Check）,这一单元的四个大部分基本上都围绕着TV Shows这一话题展开，并呈现了不同电视节目类型的表达方式，以及句型A：What do you think of...? B:I don’t mind them./I can’t stand them./I love watching them.用来表达对各类电视节目的偏好。本部分还呈现了谈论计划和安排的句型，如：A：Do you want to watch the news?B:Yes, I do./No, I don’t. A: What do you plan to watch ...? B:I plan to watch...主要学习不定式做宾语的用法，本部分出现的几个不定式有：want to do,plan to do,expect to do,hope to do等。

二、学习者特征分析

本班学生英语基础知识较弱，学生通过前一课时的学习对基础单词和句型有一定的了解，但掌握不牢固，尤其在重点知识的实际运用上欠缺。加之大部分学生语言表达能力较弱，不敢表达，害怕说错，学习的主动性和积极性不够。但学生态度端正，有小部分学生上课很积极，并且大胆创新。因此，教师在授课过程中要多给与细节的铺垫和引导，在学生完成任务时，要给与及时的肯定和鼓励。

Nowadays，watching TV shows and movies is popular pastimes of young people. Having knowledge of popular TV programs and movies facilitates conversation. In fact, knowledge of these things can often separate one generation from another or one group students from another group of students. Therefore, keeping up with the latest TV shows and movies may be considered very important for young people because all of their friends are talking about them, and they don’t want to be left out of the conversation.

亮点：

1.本节课力求通过一系列切近学生生活实际的教学设计，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生自主学习以及合作学习的意识和能力。

2.教学过程中根据学生的心理和生理特征，采用游戏、任务和教学相结合的方法，同时积极鼓励学生进行情景交际，让学生在教师的指导下通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作的方式，感受成功。

3.本节课设计了在学生中比较流行的游戏，抓住了学生的兴趣，而解密游戏环节又紧紧抓住了学生的好奇心理。第二个Pair work要求学生调出他和朋友喜欢的电视，不仅贴近生活也要求学生学会表达自己的喜好和能别人顺畅交流。 4.教学过程中注重会话示范的层次性。活动注重师生互动，生生互动，学生与白板互动，更注重趣味性和学生的广泛参与。

5．教学过程中注重环节与环节之间的有机联系，精心设计，导入自然，做到环环相扣，由易到难，层层递进，使学生能够用所学知识解决实际生活中的问题，并且从口头提升上升到写作输出。

不足：

1.

教师的口头评价比较单一，而且缺乏气氛的渲染，所以部分口头评价没有起到评价的目的。小组评价机制虽有记录，但评分机制不够严谨。小组评价最后的奖励面有点少，除了得分较高的一组外还可以设置以下奖项：the best reporter、the best writer、the best partners等。

2.

第一个pair work的环节应该给学生2分钟时间练习一下，熟悉对话，这样学生上台展示的时候就不会太紧张和生硬。第二个pair work提供的拓展信息应该在对话前有一个引导，这样学生就能更有效地却利用信息。

3.

学生做任务的时间应该用上计时器计量，让学生对任务时间更明确不拖沓；也显得各环节在时间上更严谨。

4.

无论在小组展示还是在个人展示中，应让学生这个学生或这一组学生全部展示完之后再纠正，以免打断学生思路和打击学生自信。

5.

作业的布置上稍显仓促，第一项作业应该是下去之后自我完善作文，而不是着急去写另一个作文。因为练了这么多，作文也写了，也听了看了别人的作文，作文中需要特别注意的点老师也总结了，那么接下来就应该对自己的作文有一个反馈，改完作文后可参照打分标准给自己打打分，让学生做到心中有数。
