1、Canada.

We live in China. Do you know where Jenny and Danny live? Do you know about Canada? (学生谈他们所了解的加拿大)通过学生对加拿大的了解,激发他们继续学习有关加拿大知识的积极性。

2、Listen to the tape and follow it.

(Try to answer the questions in pairs.)

Where does Jenny live?(Canada.)

What colour is this country?(It's green.)

What do they speak in Canada?(English and French.)

What is the capital city of Canada? (It's Ottawa.)

What country is south of Canada?(the U.S.)

Can you describe Canada's flag? (Canada's flag is red and

White. It has a leaf.)

What is the famous waterfall in Canada?(Niagara Falls.)

通过一系列提问让学生了解加拿大的基本常识。

3、In groups. Every group is a tourist team, they are travelling in Canada. Suppose one student is a guide.
