一、教学目标

1知识与技能目标

（1）.能听、说、读、写新单词man以及六个形容词：big ，small ，fat，

thin ，short。

（2）能听懂会说：“This/That...is tall/short/big/small/fat/thin.”句型并运用。

（3）.理解并能认读课文。

2、过程与方法目标

1.通过借助图片、创设一定语境来学习单词。

二、教学重点

掌握句型并能进行灵活运用。

三、教学难点

能运用所学形容词描述动物的形态特征。

四、教学过程

容如下: Here is a monkey a father monkey Here is a monkey, a mother monkey. Here is a monkey, a baby monkey. They are all in the zoo 设计意图:复习第一单元学过的动物名词,为本节课用形容

词描述动物做铺垫。

Sep2预习( Preview) 1.承接上一环节,将画面停留在三只猴子上。教师介绍: Look at the monkey's family. The father monkey is big, and the baby monkey is small. The mother monkey is fat, and the baby monkey Is thin.”并用手比划动作(大的,小的,胖的,瘦的),帮助

学生理解这几个形容词的意思。

2.告诉学生:这节课我们要学习用形容词描述动物。

(1)课件出示两头狮子: 引导学生描述: This lion is big. That lion is small.

(2)板书并教读单词big和small,让学生跟读

(3)教师在黑板上现画一大一小两个物品,让学生说:It's big/it's small 2.学习fat,thin (1)教师出示两只熊猫：引导学生描述: This panda is fat. That panda is thin

(2)板书并教读单词fat和thin,让学生跟读。

(3)教师比划动作,让学生说出以上四个形容词:big, small, fat. Thin. 3.man,tall,short.

(1)引入活动1: Daming和Sam去看踩高跷表演,他们看到了什么,我们一起来听一听吧!

(2)播放活动1录音,让学生听录音然后回答:“ What does the man look like?”顺势引出单词“man”,教师领读,让学生跟读。

(3)引导学生学习课文中的句子:He' s tall. he's short.教师板书tall和 short,领读,让学生跟读。

(4)让学生再次听录音,并指读跟读。

设计意图:通过图片、实物的对比引出形容词,帮助学生理解其意义并学会运用。

4. Listen and say.

(1)教师引出活动2情境:“ Daming和Sam来看小丑的耍猴表演,他们看到了什么,我们快来听听吧!”

(2)播放活动2的录音,让学生仔细听。

(3)播放录音结束后,教师问学生:“ What do the two clowns look like?”引导学生回答:“ This mar1 s tall. That man is short 同样让学生读出描述两只猴子的语句:“ This monkey is small and thin. That monkey is big and fat..”。

(4)再次播放活动2的课文录音,让学生听且跟读。

(5)让学生分角色朗读对话。

Step4巩固和延伸( Consolidation and Extension) 1.

Say the opposite. 教师说出一个形容词,让学生快速抢答,说出它的反义词,训练学生的快速反应能力
