3．词汇： 四会corn, nut, else, both, travel 认读 wheat, rice(稻谷），in water, with people and animal, with wind, with bird, in many ways 本单元内容主要集中为植物各部分功能、可食用部分以及种子的传播方式。经过前两课的学习，学生能在相应语境下使用语言灵活表达已经学过的知识。学生能正确复述阅读本单元的前两课文章，能听说读写本单元fruits, seeds, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots等5个单词。认读本单元几个常用短语。并能在实际交际活动中运用。学生能够听、说、读植物结构的相关部分的单词，如stem, root, leaf, flower等四个单词。学生已经了解植物的不同部位及其作用，并了解了相关的科学知识，如光合作用和我们可以食用的植物的不同部位等。

《英语课程标准》表明教师要通过创设接近实际生活的各种语境，采用循序渐进的语言实践活动，以及各种强调过程与结果并重的教学途径和方法，培养学生用英语做事情的能力。课表中还标明，教师应该合理开发和积极利用课程资源，例如音像资料、直观教具和实物、多媒体软件、网络资源和教学环境创设等等。

1. 学生能够听懂、会说、认读 in water, with people and animal, with wind, with bird 等相关的词组，并能用How do ... travel? Seeds travel with ...描述种子的不同传播方式。能在插图的帮助下正确理解课文内容并跟随录音模仿故事中人，通过本课学习帮助学生了解更多的植物为人类提供食物以及种子传播方式的知识。

2. 学生通过听录音、读对话回答问题获取信息，了解课文大意。通教学目标

过讨论Is corn a kind of seeds? What else are seeds? How do seeds travel? 深入了解植物的种子对人类生活所起的作用以及种子的传播方式。通过阅读和讨论有关种子传播的视频，进一步扩展植物和人类生活息息相关的知识，并发展口头交际能力。

3.学生通过本课学习引导学生关注生活，细心观察，进一步激发探索自然世界的兴趣。

提供食物以及我们食用的是植物的不同部分来聚焦到植物的种子，展开本课的学习，引出植物种子的话题。再观看一些有关植物的图片并讨论它们是植物的哪一部分，激发学生学习的兴趣，帮助学生梳理生活中的哪些食物来自植物的种子，为后面的学习做好铺垫。
