Pre－task

1a & 1b. 1．Show the days of the week in a large monthly calendar. 2．Learn the new words. 3．Complete Activity 1a，then check the answers. 4．Ask students to write the words today，tomorrow，yesterday and the day after tomorrow in the correct space on the calendars in their books.

While－task

1c. 1．Call attention to the example in the box. Ask two students to read it to the class. 2．Ask Ss to work in pairs.
