T: Hi, guys. May I ask you some questions? Let students discuss and answer these questions.

Step 2 Warming-up Show a picture of noodles. T: There is a very special king of noodles in Yunnan. Do you know the name of it ? (Yunnan Rice Noodles.) I think it’s very delicious. I want eat it. Can you tell me how to make it? Step 3 The passage filling T: If you don’t know how to make it, please look at 3a. This is a recipe of Yunnan Rice Noodles. But at first, you need to use the given words in the box to fill in the blanks. I’ll give you some tips to help you to finish the passage. Show 3 tips on the screen, let students read them. And then give them 3 minutes to finish it. 3 minutes later, ask someone to read the passage to check the answers. Step 4 Role-play Show a sample conversation, have students make a new one with their partners. Ask some pairs to role-lay their own conversations. Step 5 Discussion

Talk about the favorite food. Make a list of ingredients of it. Show a picture of Beijing roast duck to students. T: this is my favorite food. What ingredients do I need? Please make a list.(duck, green onion, sauce and some pancakes.)
