3a-3c部分为阅读板块。阅读材料是关于珠穆朗玛峰的介绍,学生通过阅读了解珠穆朗玛峰的险峻和人类克服困难、挑战极限的勇气与实践精神。3a要求学生阅读后根据文章的描述匹配段落大意。3b的活动引导学生关注细节,列举各段要点。而3c则是要求学生根据文章信息回答问题,更进一步把握文章內容,了解与珠穆朗玛峰有关的信息。

四、学情分析：

学生对于珠穆朗玛峰的了解还是比较浅，只知道有珠穆朗玛峰，大概多高，攀登珠穆朗玛峰比较危险。但是对于一些具体的事实，存在的各种各样的危险都不知道。再加上一些专有名词，所以本节阅读课难度较大。

五、教学策略：

通过搜寻具体信息，培养寻读（Scanning）的能力。

六、教学目标：

1语言目标：掌握本课重点词汇及能用比较级和最高级谈论各之最。

2 技能目标：能听懂和谈论有关珠穆朗玛峰的话题。

3 情感目标：培养学生热爱大自然，保护环境的意识。
