Step1: Warm up: 1.

Say something about dinosaurs. 2.

Sing a song. 3.

Show the information that they’ve collected. Step2. Presentation. 1) listen to the tape of part I , answer the questions : (1)

When did they do these things ? (2)

Who told them about some interesting animals ? Teach 3 or 4 skill sentences, read and say . Help them to understand the past forms :

Learn---learned , walk ---walked , talk ---talked ,

教学过程（教师活动）

动词过去式的构成：

一般在原形后面加ed；/t/, /d/ , /tid/

原形末尾为e时只加d；

以辅音字母加y结尾的原形，变y为i后，再加ed；

以重读闭音节结尾，而且末尾只有一个辅音字母，将这个辅音字母双写后再加ed 。

2) Look at the pictures of Group1:

Last week, what did the children talk about?

Learn: Last week, we talked about some interesting animals. Last week, what did Miss Liu tell us?

Last week, Miss Liu told us about some interesting animals. Last week, what did we learn about?

Last week, we learned about some interesting animals.

3) Take out the pictures of Group2.

When did dinosaurs live?

They lived millions of years ago. Could dinosaurs run?

Fast or slowly? Some ran very fast, but some only walked slowly.

What did dinosaurs eat?

Some dinosaurs ate grass and plants and some ate meat.

4) Do some E.X , fill in the blanks

e.g. : (1) Where ‘s Jim ? He

( reads , is reading ) a book under the tree . (2) She

(didn’t do ; doesn’t do ) her homework yesterday afternoon .
