I.Revision

1)Guessing game: Now children, look at this bag. I have a very good thing in my bag. Would you like to see it? Then you must have a guess….It’s a large piece of paper. You can find all the cities of our country in it. Yes! It's a map of China.

2)Put the map on the wall. Make the pupils to introduce some famous places.

II.Presentation

Introduce some famous cities and put the pictures on the blackboard.

Take out their pictures and answer the questions: Where is it? Do you want to go? What's your family's traveling plan?

T:I'm going to Dalian this summer. Can you tell me how I can go there? By train or by plane? S1:By train. S2:By plane. T:Good ideas. OK. I'll go to Dalian by ship and I'm going to take a plane to come back. Thank you.

Write the new words and sentences on the blackboard .

Read after the tape .

IV Practice

Guessing game: I have a friend . His name is Dick . He is from England . This summer , Dick and his parents will come to visit China . Can you guess where they are going to visit? Talk about it and then write your answer in your notebook.

Collect some pictures and talk about them. Write Dick's traveling plan on the notebook.
