教学目标

知识技能目标

1、

能正确地理解对话内容。

2、

能初步运用“Where are you from? I’m from….”询问并回答有关籍贯的问题。

3、

通过学习对话以及教师提供的素材,学生能够对美国、加拿大等国家进行初步了解,拓展国际视野。

教学重点:

能正确地理解对话内容。

教学难点:

正确区分America和North America。

在知识层面上对美国、加拿大等国家的信息有所了解,包括首都或代表城市及其地理位置、国旗、语言。

教学过程

Step One Greeting and Warming up 1.

Greeting T: I’m very glad to see you today. I hope we can enjoy this class together. And if you do very well, you can get stickers. Someone who does best can get a gift at last.

T: Then let me introduce myself.

T: Do you know Fangshan? T Shows the map of Beijing and introduces Fangshan. 3.

T: Are you all from Fengtai? Where are you from? Fengtai and Fangshan are all in Beijing. T: (出示中国地图) Beijing is the capital of China. We are Chinese. We speak Chinese. Chinese is our mother tongue. [设计意图:

此环节通过教师自我介绍引出“I am from….”

句型以及方位词、capital、mother tongue等词汇。然后通过询问“Where are you from?”,学生能够初步感知表示所在城市或地区的句子,为学习对话做好语言铺垫。] Step Two Learn the dialogue 1.

Learn dialogue 1 1)

Lead in:

T: Do you know some other countries in the world?

T: This is Beijing World Park. Who has been there? What can you see in this park?

此环节通过询问学生都知道其他哪些国家的名字以及出示世界公园的图片引出本文对话发生的地点。]

2) 初听理解对话大意

T: (出示Baobao和Wenwen的图片) This is Baobao and this is his sister, Wenwen. They go to Beijing World Park. And they meet their friends. Guess: Who do they meet?

T plays the video. Ss listen and answer. T: Wenwen only knows their names. So she wants to know more about them. [设计意图:

此环节学生先猜一猜Baobao和Wenwen遇到了谁,然后通过观看动画学生能够找出答案,并通过说明Wenwen只知道他们的名字,她想要了解等多信息,学生了解了对话发生的背景。] 3) 再听理解对话具体内容

Ss listen and try to say.

Ss listen and find out ‘Where is Sara from?’

T: Do you know where New York is?(出示美国地图) ③

Enjoy a video about New York. ④

T: Is New York the capital of the U.S.A.?

T: Which city is the capital of the U.S.A.? Ss watch, listen and answer. 教师介绍D.C.的含义以及Washington名字的由来。

T: Listen: Where is Washington, D.C.?

T shows the map of the U.S.A. and introduces. [设计意图:

此环节通过听看对话,学生能够了解Sara来自哪个国家,母语是什么,美国的首都及地理位置,通过教师的讲解,学生可以了解美国首都名字的由来。] 4) Enjoy a video about Washington, D. C.. T introduces other famous cities of the U.S.A.. [设计意图:

此环节通过欣赏视频及图片,学生可以更多地了解纽约和华盛顿,拓展国际视野。] 5) Try to retell (板书辅助) [设计意图:

此环节通过看板书师生一起回忆对话内容,同时培养学生的表达能力。] 2. Learn dialogue 2 1) Lead in: T: We have known more about Sara. How about Mike? 2) 初听理解对话内容

Guess: Where is Mike from? ②

Ss watch, listen and find the answer. T: Do you know which city is the capital of Canada? T shows the map of Canada and introduces the capital. ③

Watch and listen ‘What does Wenwen know about Canada?’

T: (出示北美洲地图) Canada and America are in North America. So America is a country and North America is a continent. ④

T: Mike speaks English. Do all people in Canada speak English? Let’s listen. T: (出示加拿大地图) People in Quebec speak French.

此环节先由学生猜一猜Mike来自哪个国家,尽可能多说,然后听验证,并将加

拿大的首都及地理位置补充进来,丰富学生的知识,接着通过听看对话,学生了解了加拿大在北美洲,Mike说英语,而且加拿大人主要说英语和法语,教师适当补充加拿大魁北克省主要说法语,进而增占了学生的见闻。] 3) Enjoy a video about Canada.

T: Now, let’s play a game, Yes or No. Is Sara from the U.S.A.? Is French Sara’s mother tongue? Is New York the capital of the U.S.A.? Is Mike from Canada? Does Mike speak English? [设计意图:

回归文本,回忆对话内容,通过简单的判断了解学生理解对话的情况。] Step Three Practice 1. Retell the dialogue. T: We have learnt this dialogue. Let’s talk about it together. [设计意图:

回归整体,师生一起复述,回忆整个对话的内容。] 2.
