教学内容分析

本课选自《新标准英语》三年级起始三年级下册Module2 Unit2 That man is short.本单元主要学习运用恰当的形容词描述某人或某物的特征。学习几对反义词:tall-short, big-small, fat-thin.

教学目标

一、基础知识

全体学生能够掌握单词,能听懂、会说:tall, short, big, small, fat, thin, big and fat,This monkey is small and thin.

二、基本技能

能灵活运用This/That … is tall/ short/ big/ small.描述某人/物的特征。三、综合素质

1.培养学生爱护小动物的美好品质。

2.通过学习,树立学生学习英语的自信心和团结合作的能力。

教学重点、难点

1.重点:

(1)学习并掌握单词tall, short, big, small, fat, thin, big and fat

(2)掌握句型This/That … is tall/ short/ big/ small.

2.难点:掌握big and fat, small and thin

教学过程

Step2. Presentation

1、教师呈现ppt,展示两个大小不一样的球,引出big,small. T: Boys and girls , Now I want to show you something.

Look, What are they?

Ss: They are balls.

T: What colour is it? (分别问两个球)

T: Yes, this ball is big,and this ball is small.(拿着两个球对比,引导学生说出big,small)

Ss: big.(给说对的学生加分)

呈现卡片,带读的时候教师板书,同时引出pig,并让学生一起举起手拼读。抽读,纠正学生发音。做大大的动作操练。

呈现卡片small,带读的时候教师板书,并让学生一起举起手拼读。做小小的动作带读。抽读,纠正学生发音。

活动1:(教师点到某个学生的名字,同桌也快速站起来读) (用几件物体来进行句子操练)

T: This ball(红球) is small.板书:This ball is small.

This pig is small.This duck is small.教师做动作,学生说单词,操练big,small。

师生唱反调,操练big,small.

2、呈现一个图片人,引出man.

T:Look,Who is he?

S: He’s a man.(引导学生说出man)

呈现卡片,带读的时候教师板书man,并让学生一起举起手拼读。做男人拨头发的动作操练。抽读,纠正学生发音。

3、引出tall

T: Look, who is he?

S: He’s Yaoming.

T: Look at them. This man is tall.(做高的动作)

This boy is short.(慢慢地对比,引导学生说出来)

呈现卡片tall,带读的时候教师板书,并让学生一起举起手拼读。做高高的动作操练。抽读(让学生边读边做动作),纠正学生发音。1.师做动作生抢读,将big,small也带进来.

T: This man is tall.(指着姚明跟小男孩对比)板书:This man is tall. 4、引出short

T: This man is tall. But this boy is short.

呈现卡片short,带读的时候教师板书,并让学生一起举起手拼读。做矮矮的动作带读。抽读(让学生边读边做动作),纠正学生发音。师做动作生抢读,将前面学的也带进来。

句子操练(用几件物体来进行句子操练)

5、引出fat

T:Look, this man is tall,and he is also very fat.(做胖胖的动作)

T: He is tall and fat.

呈现卡片fat,带读的时候教师板书,并让学生一起举起手拼读。做胖胖的动作带读。抽读(让学生边读边做动作),纠正学生发音。6、引出thin

T: This man is fat. But this boy is ...(做动作引导学生说thin)

呈现卡片thin,带读的时候教师板书,并让学生一起举起手拼读。做瘦瘦的动作带读。抽读(让学生边读边做动作),纠正学生发音。句子操练T: This boy is thin.

7、教师说一词,学生抢答说出反义词,巩固本节课所学的反义词。Step3. Practice.
