1.归纳询问电视节目的句式及电视节目名称。

2.学习并掌握一些询问喜好的特殊疑问句。

二、教学目标

1.能够掌握课标要求的词汇：discussion, happen, may，expect, joke。

2.归纳总结并陈述自己的看法和意见。

三、重点难点

1.掌握“What do you think of...?”这个句型。

2.能够正确谈论自己的喜好。

3.掌握以下重点句子：

①-Do you want to watch the news? -Yes, I do. No, I don't, ②-What do you think of talk shows? -I don't mind them./I can't stand them./I love watching them. ③-What do you plan to watch tonight? -I plan to watch Days of Our Past. ④-What can you expect to learn from sitcoms? -You can learn some great jokes. ⑤-Why do you like watching the news?

如：快乐大本营，一些电视节目或者电影的小短片或多媒体。

六、教学过程

Step I 复习

Ask about the TV shows. Step Ⅱ

导入

First ask students what TV shows they like. And then talk about them. Step Ⅲ

角色表演对话(2d) First ask two students to act out the conversation and then make their own conversations. This step helps them to improve their oral English and speaking skills. Step Ⅳ

语法

Read the sentences together and then help students to summarize the grammar. Step V Practice(3a)

First show some sentences in 3a,and ask students to fill in the blanks with the TV show words. Keys: watch a talk show; watch a game show; want to watch; a game show; a game show Complete the questions with the TV show words. This step helps students know how to finish the sentences, and grasp the responses to the questions. Step I 小组合作(3b) Firstly, ask some of the students to say sentences using the given words. Secondly, ask others to answer. Then ask each of the students to write questions. Ask and answer with a partner. One asks, the other answers, and then ask them to give a report. This step helps to train the usages of the present tense. Step VI 一项调查

(3c) The teacher first asks students questions: Do you want to watch a movie? Do you hope to watch a sitcom? Do you expect to watch the news? Do you plan to watch a sports show? Some students would say like this: Yes, I do. No, I don't. Make the survey: Ask your classmates questions and write their names in the chart. Step V Ⅲ
