教材分析

教材的第二单元以My country and English-speaking countries 为中心话题，本单元介绍了中国、加拿大、美国、英国和澳大利亚。学生要了解这些国家的名字、首都、国旗，生活在不弄国家的人们所讲的语言和这些国家的一些著名的事物。

二、

教学目标

1. 知识与技能目标：

（1）学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写词汇：China , map , speak (2) 学生能听懂、会说、认读 speak , Chinese ,flag （3）学生能认读、理解并运用下列句子：This is ... (4)学生能够了解如何用英语描述中国名胜。

2.情感态度目标：

学生通过学习本课内容，能够自信的用英语讲述中国，让世界了解中国。 三、

教学重难点

1. 教学重点：学生能运用所学内容对国家进行简单的描述。

2. 教学难点：学生对单词及句型的正确运用。

四、教学过程设计

Step 1：Class opening

(3m)

1.Greetings . 2.Free talk :Talk something about your families .

Step 2： New concepts (19m) 一、

China ,map , speak , 1.PPT show some pictures about China . Guide the students say :China .

(Write it on the blackboard .Then teach . ) 2.PPT show a map of China . And show the sentences : This is a map of China . Beijing is the capital city of China . (Teach and read for several times . )

3.PPT show a picture about Chinese . And show the sentences : In China , we speak Chinese .

(Teach and read for several times . ) 4.PPT show a flag of China . And show the sentences :This is a flag of China . (Teach and read for several times . ) 5. Play CD . The first time . ask them listen and try to read silently . The second time , read by themselves . Then show part 2 . Play part 2 . Ask the students listen and read after the CD .

6. PPT show the pictures and ask the students try to say the places out . Write these three places on the blackboard .Point and say .

Step 3: Practice (7m) 1. Fill in the chart .

2. Talk with partners and fill in the blanks .

Step 4： Class closing (1m) Homework : 1. Recite the text . 2. Finish the exercise book .
