1. Free talk

Ask the students what they usually do on weekends and what they have to do on weekdays. 2. Presentation Show the calendar of May, 2019. T: What’s today?

Ss: It’s Thursday the 23rd. (help the students if necessary) T: What’s tomorrow/ the day after tomorrow? Ss: It’s Friday the 24th/ Saturday the 25th. 3. Practice Have the students ask and answer questions about the days. 4. Pairwork Have the students make conversations in pairs according to the pictures. A: Can you come to my birthday party？

B：When? A: The day after tomorrow? B: Sorry, I can’t. I have to prepare for the test. 5. Listening practice Play the tape for the students and deal with 1d and 1e. 6.
