Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show? Section A (2d-3c) 一、教学目标：

学生相互对话的过程中，学会讨论和欣赏各类电视节目。

通过学习，让学生懂得合理平衡学习与娱乐的关系。

二、教学重点：

能听懂简单的对话并会用英语简单表述关于电视节目的对话培养爱好，并能处理好爱好与学习之间的关系

四、教学过程：

Step1. 复习热身(展示图片)

Make conversations to talk about likes

T: What do you like doing in your free time? S1:I like watching TV. T; What kind of TV shows do you like? S2:I l ike…

T; OK. Today let’s show some pictures and talk about TV shows in English.

Step2.感知体验

【视野拓展】美国的电视文化：

美国电视剧，比较常见的有以下几种：soap opera(肥皂剧), sitcom(情景喜剧), drama(电视剧)。其中soap opera 有点像是连续剧（serial）, 通常各集之间的故事都有关联，而且很会拖戏，

有时候几个星期不看，剧情

居然还能接得上！有点居然可以演20年。至于为何叫soap opera, 则是因为当初赞助此节目的是一家肥皂（soap）公司，

故名称一直沿用至今。sitcom则是所谓的情景喜剧(situation comedy)，

顾名思义，

每一集的情景喜剧通常会有一个独立的情景（situation）, 而喜剧（comedy）

就是要搞笑。

Step 3. 利用多媒体图片呈现本课时的词汇soap opera

教师用同样的方式呈现其他新单词，并板书在黑板上。

Step 4.

2d:

role-play the conversation.

Make conversations in groups (1)—What do you think of sports shows? —I love them. I watch it on TV every day. (2)—What do you think of soap operas? —I can’t stand them.

(3)—What do you think of talk shows? —I like them.

观察与思考：

询问别人观点的句型：

What do you think of . . .?

= How do you like......?

What does he/she think of . . .?

= How does he/she like......?

表达自己的观点：

I love/like/ don’t mind/ don’t like/can’t stand......

I agree with you. / I don’t agree with you.

两人一组，运用所学句型，编写一个新对话。

注意：如果学生说出不同的电视节目类型有困难，我们可以提供一些他们熟悉的电视节目名称，通过所学的挑一些简单的供他们使用，在完成活动的过程中，学生还可以展开讨论，表达自己不同的观点。通过讨论可以加深学生对这些词汇的理解。

Step 5. Grammar Focus ⑴Do you want to watch the news? ⑵.What do you plan to watch tonight? ⑶.What can you expect to learn from sitcomes? ⑷. Why do you like watching the news? ⑸.What do you think of talk shows？

师可让学生齐读这五个问题，并准备好纸笔，然后边听边记录，以培养他们记笔记的能力。这是对2d练习的拓展和延伸，能够帮助学生深入理解对话内容。

让学生四人一组讨论上面的问题，然后请几个学生在全班回答，并利用前面记

录的信息，通过复述对话中的句子说出理由。
