学情分析：

The students from grade 8 have learned English and have been trained English skills for more than one year. but most of them are afraid of the grammar. This theme of this lesson is about Amazing China, which is one of the popular topics recently, so it's a great opportunity for them to practice speaking because they are interested in them and have something to say and write. This class I'll guide them to review the grammar step by step so that they will feel grammar is not that difficult as they imagine. So that every student can feel the joy of learning, and the results have been improved.And I try my best to attract their interest and encourage them to read carefully ,work in groups and learn from each other.

教学目标：

According to the New English Curriculum Standard, when teaching, teachers should lay emphasis on the five aspects: language knowledge, skills, emotion, learning strategies and culture awareness. Students are supposed to use what they have learned to do something in English. Teachers should strengthen students’ interest in studying English, build up good studying habits, improve students’ cooperatives and thinking abilities by listening ,speaking ,reading and writing practice. What’s more, make sure students are the real masters in class while teachers are directors to help students when necessary. 1)

Step 1 Let's start --A quiz！(知识竞答）

To begin with, I'll let students play an interesting game. It's a quiz about some geographic knowledge some great achievements of China.

1)What is the longest wall in the world? 2)What is the lowest basin in the world? 3)Which country has the biggest population in the world? 4)What language has the most speakers in the world? 5)Which country has one of the fastest high-speed railways in the world?

Design purposes:

1)

To create a situation to stimulate students’ curiosity and push forward the following steps.

To enable students to grasp the topic of this lesson.

Step 2 Let’s review the superlative degree. 1)The Great Wall is the longest wall in the world.(long-longer-longest) 2)China has the biggest population in the world.(big-bigger-biggest) 3)Chinese has the most speakers in the world.(many-more-most) 4)China has one of the fastest high-speed railways in the world.(fast-faster-fastest) 5)Turpan Basin is the lowest basin in the world.(low-lower-lowest)

Design purposes:

Review the superlative degree by taking about the sentences from the quiz.

2)

The sentences become more and more difficult and students need to finish the sentences by using the superlative degree.

Step 3 Let' s summarize- Regular& Irregular. 1)

Watch a micro-class video.

Lead students to summarize rules of the superlative degrees.

Design purposes:

To encourage all the students to summarize the rules by themselves. 2)

Improve the ability to understand the grammar better .

Step 4 Let’s play a game. Let students play a game to classify the regular words and irregular words.

To create a situation to arise students’ interests.

To strengthen the grammar of superlative degree .

Step 5 Watch a video about Changsha --Watch a video and some pictures about Changsha

Step 6 Group work: Introduce a place to others.

Students work in groups to talk about the best places or things in our city.

Group members need to work together and use the superlative degree of the words.

To train students’ listening and speaking ability through group work. 2)

To help them to more deeply master the usage of superlative degree. 3)

To raise the awareness of teamwork, feel the power of teamwork and share the joy of victory.

Step 7 Homework Write a composition about the best things or places in Changsha.

教学反思：

教学感悟：

优点：1）将信息化技术和英语学科有效融合，促进学生积极有效地主动学习，使相对沉闷的阅读课更生动有趣。2）根据英语学科素养，推崇情境教学。本课以“厉害了我的国”为情境贯穿始终，层层递进，思路清晰。3）以读促写，要求学生本课运用所学的语言知识，写出心仪城市的宣传报告，再通过希沃授课助手，当场同屏到电脑屏幕上供所有同学查看纠错。

缺点：1）学情分析不到位，学生课堂上不太积极配合。2）课堂的语言表达还不够精炼，可以更简洁明白。
