一．教材内容分析：

1. 本单元为七年级上册的第四单元，本课为本单元的第一课时，而这个课时起到呈现本单元语言点的重要作用。

2.本课的语言目标为形容词的最高级，通过对比同类事物来呈现巩固形容词的最高级。

二．学生特征分析：

初二的学生经过一年的英语学习，已经初步具备了一定的语言知识。另外，有之前对比较级的学习作为基础，那么对于最高级的学习应该是水到渠成，顺理成章的。

三．教学目标：

1.知识目标：

1) 能掌握以下单词：theater, comfortable, seat, screen, close, ticket, worst, cheaply, song, DJ, choose, carefully, reporter, so far, fresh, comfortably, No problem 能掌握以下句型：

① It has the biggest screens. ② It’s the most popular.

③ Which is the best clothes store? ④ You can buy clothes the most cheaply there. ⑤ They play the most boring songs. 2.能力目标：

掌握形容词及副词的最高级形式；会用最高级形式来描述和对比偏爱的人或是事物。

情感态度价值观目标：

了解我们周围中有那些最出色的人或物，知道生活中有很多值得我们去学习的人。周围环境中有很多值得我们去珍惜的事物。

四．教学重难点

1. 教学重点：

1) 形容词及副词最高级形式的构成。

2) 用形容词或副词的最高级形式来描述人或事物。

2. 教学难点：

用形容词或副词的最高级形式来描述人或事物。

五．教学策略选择：

有鉴于初二的学生已经学习了形容词和副词的比较级，有这个知识作为基础，可以直接用形容词的比较级作为本节课教学的切入点。

六．教学环境与资源：

在本班教室展开本节课的教学，利用学生所掌握的英语言知识、录音机和投影仪等来辅助教学。

七．教学教学过程

Ⅰ. Lead-in

1. 向学生们介绍一座大家都很熟悉的电影院，谈论自己对这座建筑物的感受。从而引出本课时中的一些重要单词：comfortable seats, big screens, best sound, cheap, new movies, close to home, buy tickets quickly, popular…

2. 学生们听老师的介绍，并学习这些新生词。

3. 学生们看幻灯片，并学习记忆这些生词。 Ⅱ. Presentation

Learn the new words. Ⅲ. Discussion

1. How do you choose which movie theater to go to? Write the things in the box under “Important” or “Unimportant”.

2. Ss discuss with their partners and write the words in the box in the chart. Ⅳ. Listening

1. T: Tell Ss to read the sentences in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and match the statement with the right movie theaters. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. Ⅴ. Pair work

1. Let Ss read the model with a partner. 2. Use the information in the chart of 1b. Ask and answer with a partner. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer about the chart. Ⅵ. Listening

Work on 2a: 1. Read the questions and answers in 2a. Tell Ss to remember the information. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the boy’s answers. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know what to do. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to write the correct store or radio station next to each statement. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Ⅶ. Pair work

1. Tell Ss Student A is the reporter. Student B is the boy. Role-play the conversation. 2. Let Ss read conversation after the teacher. 3. Explain some main points for the Ss. 4. Ss act the conversation in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.

Ⅷ. Role-play

1. Read the conversations and answer the two questions: ① What is the newest cinema? __________________________________ ② How does Helen like it? ____________________________________ 2. Explain some new words and main points in the conversation. 3. Read the conversation after the teacher. 4. Practice the conversation with their partner. Then let some pairs to act out the conversation. Homework:

八．板书设计：

形容词、副词最高级的构成方法和用法。

最高级形式的构成

(1)单音节词和部分双音节词在原级后加-est构成，具体情况如下：

①单音节词及部分双音节词在词尾后加-est。

great--greatest clever--cleverest ②以e结尾的单词，在词尾后加．st。

nice--nicest fine--finest ③以辅音字母+y结尾的单词，把y变为i，再加-est。

happy--happiest heavy--heaviest ④重读闭音节单词末尾只有一个辅音字母的单词，双写最后的辅音字母，再加-est。

hot--hottest big--biggest

(2)绝大多数双音节和多音节形容词前面加most构成最高级。

important-most important interesting-most interesting beautiful--most beautiful popular--most popular difficult---most difficult creative--most creative boring--most boring expensive--most expensive (3)不规则变化

少数形容词(和副词)的比较级及最高级变化不规则。

good/well-~better---*best bad/ill/badly-~worse--*worst many／much-more--most little---less---~least far- farther--*farthest ( further_—furthest) 九．教学反思：

本节课是第四单元的第一节课，起到承上启下的作用，本节课既要衔接第三单元的比较级，，又要学习形容词的最高级。在这节课中，听说读写都占到一定的比例，因此每方面都要练到位。因此在教学环节设置上要符合学生的认知规律，在难度上要由浅入深，层层推进。导课上从学生比较熟悉的任何事物着手，很容易引起学生的兴趣和共鸣，对后面教学环节的衔接起到了积极的作用，整体来讲在重点班的上课效果比较好，普通班学生反映也不错。本课的听力材料信息量比较大，语速稍快，对学生来讲稍有困难。今后在听力教学方面要加强。
