教学设计

Step1热身(Warm-up)

1.Greetings.

2.Ask and answer.

教师出示一系列动物图片,问学生:“What's this?/Whatare they?”引导学生回答:“It's..…/They're..…”

3.Listen and say the chant.

播放动画或听录音,齐说本模块Unit1活动1的歌谣。内容如下:

Here is a monkey,

a father monkey.

Here is a monkey,

a mother monkey.

Here is a monkey,

a baby monkey.

They are all in the zoo.

Step 2预习(Preview)

1.承接上一环节,将画面停留在三只猴子上。教师介绍“:Look at the monkey's family.The father monkey is big,and thebaby monkey is small.The mother monkey is fat,,and the baby monkey is thin.”,并用手比划动作(大的,小的,胖的,瘦的),帮助学生理解这几个形容词的意思。2.告诉学生:这节课我们要学习用形容词描述动物。

Step3新课呈现(Presentation)

1.学习big,small。

(1)课件出示两头大象:a mother elephant和a baby elephant,引导学生描述:The mother elephant is big.The baby elephant is small.

(2)板书并教读单词big和small,让学生跟读。

(3)教师在黑板上现画一大一小两个物品,让学生说:It's big./It's small.

2.学习fat,thin。

(1)教师出示两个毛绒玩具,一个“胖熊猫”和一个“瘦兔子”,引导学生描述:This panda is fat.This rabbit is thin.

(2)板书并教读单词fat和thin,让学生跟读。

(3)教师比划动作,让学生说出以上四个形容词:big,small,fat,thin。

3.学习man,tall,short。

(1)引人活动1:Daming和Sam去看踩高跷表演,他们看到了什么,我们一起来听一听吧!

(2)播放活动1录音,让学生听录音然后回答:“What does the man look like?”顺势引出单词“man”,教师领读,让学生跟读。

(3)引导学生学习课文中的句子:He's tall.He's short.教师

板书tall和short,领读,让学生跟读。

(4)让学生再次听录音,并指读跟读。

4.Listen and say.

(1)教师引出活动2情境:“Daming和Sam来看小丑的耍猴表演,他们看到了什么,我们快来听听吧!”

(2)播放活动2的录音,让学生仔细听。

(3)播放录音结束后,教师问学生:“What do the two clowns look like?”引导学生回答:“This man is tall.That man is short.”同样让学生读出描述两只猴子的语句:“This monkey is small and thin.That monkey is big and fat.”。

(4)再次播放活动2的课文录音,让学生听且跟读。

(5)让学生分角色朗读对话。

Step 4巩固和延伸(Consolidation and Extension)

1.Say the opposite.

教师说出一个形容词,让学生快速抢答,说出它的反义词,训练学生的快速反应能力。

T:Big.

Ss:Small.

2.Look and say.

让学生看课本活动3的图片,仿照示例用恰当的形容词对图

中的6个熊猫进行描述。

This panda is fat.

That panda is thin.

Step5家庭作业(Homework)

1.听录音跟读课文。

2.用本课学过的形容词描述身边的人或物。
