【指导思想与理论依据】

1. 以培养学生的综合语言能力为目标，在培养学生英语语言能力的同时进一步促进学生思维能力的提高。

2. 促进学生在语言、情感、认知、文化意识、学习能力、道德与价值观等多方面的综合发展。

3. 加强学生核心素养的培养，从学生学习能力、语言能力、写作能力等多方面进行提高。

【教学背景分析】

1.教材分析

本单元是围绕植物的相关知识进行交流，介绍树的作用、种子如何传播等，与学生生活实际相结合，激发学生学习的兴趣。

通过Listen and say板块呈现本课的重点短语，通过学习能够在模拟情景中运用所学语言进行表达。

2.学情分析

学生对本课的重点句型How can we make use of …? We can…. 的利用还需要提高。

【教学目标】

1.能听懂、会用”How can we make use of…?”提出问题，并在图片或词语的支持下做出回答。

2.能听懂、会说、认读get fruits from trees、make paper caps、make a bag等相关的动词词组。

3.能够在插图帮助下理解对话内容并跟随录音模仿故事中的人物对话。

4.通过本课学习，引导学生爱护树木，收旧利废，培养学生环保意识。

【教学重难点】

1.能够正确朗读并理解对话内容。

2.会用句型”How can we make use of…?””We can….”进行操练。

【教学内容】

（一）Listen and say 1.导入

（1）教师从日期入手，与学生进行交流。

T:This is March, what festival in the March? S: The Tree-planting Day. T: What do we do on that day? S: Plant trees./ Water the plants. T: Yes. Many years later, little trees grow up to be the big trees. Do you like trees?

（2）师生交流后，引出本课内容。

T: Now, Miss Wang and her students are in the forest. There are many apple trees. Do you like the apple trees? Do they like trees? Watch the video. 【设计意图】通过一张日历引出植树节，并与学生讨论有关植树节的话题，让学生初步了解本课话题。

Picture 1 T: Does Lingling like trees? How about Mike? Why? Listen.

S: Yes, they all like trees. Because in the forest the air is clean and trees can help us. Read the picture 1. 【设计意图】此部分内容简单，采用略讲的形式。通过整体观看故事，教师提问，逐句听的方式进行学习。

Picture 2 T: Trees are very important for us, so how can we make use of trees? How can we make use of trees?

What can we do with the trees? S: We can.... T: Open your books and find the answer. What do they say? S: We can make chairs and tables with the wood. We can build houses. We also can get fruits from trees. T: We can make desk with the wood. We also can build the bird’s nest on the trees. Read the picture 2.

【设计意图】此部分为本课重点，让学生进行发散性思维训练。重点句型通过简单句型进行替换理解，达到真正理解的目的。

Review （二）Listen, look, and learn T: How can we make use of trees? We can also make newspapers with the wood. T: These are the newspapers. How can we make use of newspaper? Watch the video about the newspapers. T: We can make paper caps/make paper shoes/clean the window/make paper clothes. Use the sentences to practice the word. T: She wears the paper clothes, I wear an old jacket. Who can help me , how can I make use of my old jacket? Learn the new word: make a bag/make a skirt/make a toy/make a doghouse. 【设计意图】此板块分别通过学生观看视频、帮助老师解决问题来进行短语、句子的学习。通过不同的学习方式激发学生的兴趣，以便更好的学习。

（三）Let's do T: Look at the calender, we have another festival in March? Do you know? Introduce the World Water Day.

T: How can we use of water? Discuss. Give some example for students. Drink water/wash clothes/water the plant/clean the table Read a story about save water.
