一、教学目标:
通过本课学习,激发学生灵活运用本课词汇和句型:
词汇:plane, train ,fast, slow,from…to. 句型: How far is it from…to…? It’s…kilometers 2、通过创设问题情境,让学生自主参与教学活动,体会说英语的乐趣,培养学生对英语的听、说能力,进而提高学生的口语交际能力。
二、学情分析:
本课围绕选择去北京的方式为话题讨论和学习How can we go to Beijing?主要谈交通方式和交通工具,这些都与学生的实际生活紧密联系,在四年级上册已经学了简单的交通工具以及by的用法如:by car by bike等,教师要充分利用旧语言为新知识的教学服务。在本课时本人利用学生感兴趣的图画设计,引入主题依次展开话题,授课过程中为他们提供一定的学习的方法和途径,在激发兴趣的同时培养学生的英语学习兴趣,培养他们英语自主学习的能力,让学生在和谐的课堂气氛中快乐学习。
三、教学重、难点
重点:学生灵活运用词汇: plane train fast slow from…to 难点:用句型 How far is it from…to…?It’s…kilometers询问从某地到某地有多远。
四、教学教法:
以情景法、直观法、任务型教学法、交际法等,调动学生各种感官。

Step1: Greeting Hello everyone .How are you today? How is the weater today ? How many students in our class? How old are you? How do you go to school? Can you ask others? Good .We can go to school by car,by bus,by bike,by taxi or on foot. Can we go to school by train or by plane? Maybe you will go to school by them in the future. Now we can go on a trip by them. Today let’s learn lesson 16.How can we go to Beijing?Read together. Step2:New class. New words: Does Li Ming love to travel?Where does he want to go?
Do you love to travel?(Ask some students) Yes,I love to tavel .This winter holiday I want to go to Sanya.(Show a picture of Sanya.It’s far from Qinhuangdao.)Who can guess how can I go to Sanya?First, let’s see some pictures together. (Show each transportation) Ask studens will I take a car? Will I take a bus? Will I read a bike? (比较这些交通工具快慢) (Teach new words slow, fast,train,plane.) A plane is fast .So I want to go to Sanya by plane.I take a plane to Sanya. By plane and take a plane they have the same meaning.How about these phrases.Let’s do some exercises. Important sentences: Except for Sanya,I want to go to other interesting places this year.Let’s see together. This is Beijing.I want to go to Beijing.And I want to go to Shijiazhuang. Now I have some questions .Please read together,OK? Here I have Three numbers.Please guess.
Ok ,good job.Let’s do some practices.Ask and answer with your partners.Give you 1minute.You can go. Ask some groups to show.
