学情分析：六年级的学生已经掌握了大量的英语单词及语言交流的能力，因此，本课语篇教学我注重学生的课文分析能力，化整为零，事半功倍。

一、教学目标：

通过Susan 介绍自己居住小区场景的创设，引出要学习的目标语言‘There be’句型。

2.

通过师生、生生之间的阅读与讨论，学生自主感知，模仿、理解和体验，学会运用What’s in the centre of the community ?

Warm-up 1.

Greetings ,chant Wh 2.

Let’s play a game. magic ears.在游戏中复习方位词，地点，名词，形容词等引导学生进入情景。

Step 2 Presentation T: Everyday, we go to school in the morning, and go back home at night. And I go back to my community. It is a beautiful place. T: Look at this picture (show the picture of the text) .There are many tall buildings here, I live in one of those buildings. There is a park near my home and there is a river behind the park. There are many tall buildings in the park. I like it very much. Today we will mainly talk about my friend, Susan’s community. 1.

Look at the picture, what can you see in the community?

There are so many places. Now open your books to page 14, listen and underline“There be”sentence. Part1, first listen, find preposition. Listen again, fill in phrases.（eg: maths、art Chinese. I like Chinese. I can say I like one of the subjects.

教学反思：在本课中我首先利用学生们都熟知的地点来进行新课渗透，通过“看”和“猜”的活动练说句型There is\are….同时还熟悉了地点名称，学生不会产生陌生和厌烦的情绪。在授课的过程中，充分发挥学生为主体的作用，教师只是一种辅导，环节虽然都是老师设计，但是在练习、做对话、游戏的时候都是学生完成的并有足够发挥的空间。学生对于不同的方式会觉得新鲜，增加兴趣的同时还提高学习效率，让学生在学到知识的同时更注意到我们生活中的一些常识。学生的掌握能力和课堂的反应证明了他们对于本课时的内容都十分接受，让我觉得欣慰不已，总之，本节课充分发挥新课标的教学理念，教学成果十分不错，对教师和学生都是一种鼓舞。
