Ability aims: Ss can say what they like and what they don't like by using these following sentence patterns, I like ... I don't like... Do you like ...? Yes, I do./ No, I don't.

sb. likes ... sb. don't like ... Does sb. like ...?

Yes, sb. does./ No, sb. doesn't. Emotional aims: this class enable Ss to pay more attention to this interesting world. There are lots of amazing things and people around us. Try to find out and say.

And make progress for their English speaking.

6. Teaching procedures 1.Lead-in

Sing a song together and greetings. Listen carefully and guess, then answer questions. T: Good morning , boys and girls. How nice to see you again. Now, please listen and guess what kind of animal it is. T: Do you like monkeys? Do you like pandas? Do you like...? T: Excellent! All of you did a great job! Please clap your hands!

2. Presentation Teacher introduce an animal tea party to Ss. Ss should pay attention to the details and then fill in the blanks. T: Today, five animals are having a tea party. There are a monkey, a lion, a panda, an elephant and a tiger. The monkey is the host. They are talking about what they like and don't like. So, the monkey says first...（Now the teacher act as different animals.）

Ss: (watch and listen carefully) T: Now, all the animals finished talking. Can you understand them? On the blackboard, I made a list for you. I will give you one minute. Please fill in the blanks with the right words.

Ss: Ok! One minute later, invite some Ss to share their answers and classify all the words(fruits, foods and drinks)

3. Practice and Consolidation

Activity 1: class survey and discussion Four Ss in a group and try to say sth. about what they like and don't like. Then invite one group to share their work. T can ask others some questions. T: Does ...like...？

Ss: Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn't.

Activity 2: introduce your family Invite someone to the platform and introduce one family member. The introduction should including the following details: 1. Who is he/she? (Ss: He is my... She is my... He/ She likes... He/ She doesn't like...) 2. What does he/she do? (Ss: He/ She is a ...)

3. What does he/she like? (Ss: He/ She likes ...) 4. What doesn't he/she like? (Ss: He/ She doesn't like ...)

And after that, others can ask some questions. For example: Does your mother like...? Does he like ...? Does your brother like ...?

...

4. Summary and homework Summary: what kind of words we review today? Please say them and classify. Homework: plant your own word tree. It will grow bigger and taller.
