Football, basketball, table tennis, swimming, skipping,morning exercises,riding a bike Purpose: To let Ss enter the English class quickly by doing some actions. Step 2. Preview Play a guessing game. Divide Ss into two groups. Have Ss to guess “What is in the bag ?in limited time. T:What is in it? S1: It’s a football/noodles T:What’s this? It’s a football. I like football. Have Ss repeat:I like football. Purpose: Proper competition can arouse the Ss’ interest in English learning.
