Step 1 Warm-up activity 1. Greeting. 2. Sing an English song we’ve learned together. Step 2 Presentation & drill 1. Learn to say: birthday card. T show a birthday card and say “

Look! It is a birthday card. It is my birthday. Say “Happy birthday!”. T helps Ss understand the meaning and say “happy birthday”

Read the sentence after T. Learn to say: toy, birthday cake, picture, notebook in the same way. Drill: T shows the pictures and Ss say the words. Open the book, listen to the CAI and read after it.
